Think of consulting your general practitioner in order to make you prescribe drugs adapted to your destination of travel.
Profit to update your vaccinations.
- aspirin, anti-diarrhoea, evils of stomach, anti-nausea, disinfecting, throat lozenge,
- special bandages for the bulbs,
- bandages, scissors,
- creams for the sunstrokes, sun lotion,
- anti-mosquito product.
Finances :
- cash
- international bank cards (VISA, American Express, EuroCard Mastercard). Note on a paper in two specimens the number of call for the medical care and the loss of bank card. You ensure that you have well an assistance in the event of problem (if you pay the plane ticket with your bank card you have certainly a medical care and legal).
- Travellers Accounts - cheques.
Papers :
Passport + ticket of plane (electronic preferably) + driving licence if you rent a car (originals + photocopy), 1 or 2 photographs of identity (that can be useful...) and the VISA for countries
Clothing :
Envisage an inside pocket with your trousers to hide cash.
- bathing suit + beach towel,
- personal clothing,
- cloth of camp-site (bag has meat).
The material *
- flashlight (possibly frontal)
- pocket knife (in the luggage with compartment),
- compass,
- stopper for the ears,
- toilet bag, Attention with the value of the electric tension of the country concerned (110V or 220 V)
- universal adapter because the form of the catches can vary,
- camera + charger and cartridges of memory,
- sunglasses + cap,
- glasses of swimming pool + the mask and the tuba for deep-sea diving.
For the feet :
A good pair of walking shoes, sandals.
To write :
- Pens, envelopes if you wish to write and small memo pad.
For transport
- 1 large back bag (approximately 60 L) + 1 small back bag (approximately 15l),
- the geographical map of the country concerned, the guide (lonely planet for example); possibly a language dictionary of the country: the list is not exhaustive!
If you go in mountain :
- bag of bed
- rising walking shoes
- socks of good quality
- shorts, polar, trousers of walk
- bonnet, gloves (in mountain, the weather can be cold even in the tropical countries, all depends on altitude).
If you camp :
- tries
- gas ring + bottle of reserve
- mess tins + pan
- groundsheet
