the historical center, the down town, and Vedado (administrative center) and the Malecon (it is the walk in Havana).

Since its foundation in 1519, Ciudad of Habana is certainly the pearl of the capitals of the New world.

Ultimate stage for the Spanish ships of the road of the Indies which were turned over from there towards Europe. Havana has the memory of its fortresses and its rampart set up as from the XVIIe century in pediment of sea.

Its historical center, Habana Vieja built with the wire of Spanish, British or American colonization, is registered on the world List of the inheritance of UNESCO since 1982.

The atmosphere of dilapidation and the bubbling life which reign with Havana form a contrast clashing for the foreigner. The sumptuous palates côtoient the popular habitat. The inhabitants pile up in buildings, in charge of completed history and splendours, divided into dwellings, the famous solares.

For one half-century, the capital has suffered from the lack of maintenance and means to develop its architectural heritage. If Havana tries to make new skin for the tourists, for the Cubans, it is always same the galère.
