مارتينيك - Le Morne-Rouge

Le Morne Rouge is the wetter and cooler of Martinique, it lies on a plateau between Mount Pelee and the massive peaks of Carbet.

For a small hunger: Snack 'Aux délices du poulet (delights of chicken)' in the main street in front of the church.

In good weather, there is as a superb view of Mount Pelee. Many circuits or trekkinf begin on the Morne-Rouge.
