Coral reef in the archipelago of los Colorados, in the Gulf of Mexico… Sand white beaches, mangroves, birds of sea, underwater fauna. Accessible in boat only starting from Palma Rubia. It is the blow of heart of the stay. However it is right an island with a great beach and forest accompanied by mangroves.

To go there, they is 20 $CUC/(drinks + meal included) starting from Palme Rubia 50 km in the Western North of Vinales.

You arrive on a pontoon of you and meter about fifty here at the restaurant bar of the island. The boat can contain about thirty anybody. 80% of people are posed in front of the bar-restaurant. We advise you to walk on the beach in direction of the East (on the right) on 3 km (30 mn of walk). Not to hesitate not to force the passage around the mangroves and to put the feet in water to reach the other deserted beaches. Water is splendid and there is nobody… with share small animals which run on the beach!
