Large port of southernmost China, Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong, is also an industrial and commercial center important. The subtropical maritime climate is favourable with a rich and varied agricultural production.
This historical and cultural city presents 150 sites and historic buildings and various modern installations of entertainments. This city is served by the railway lines Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon and has a road network which does not cease extending. The maritime Baiyun airport and lines connect it to many foreign cities.
The island of Shamian, old French-British concession, drips of almost dumb ground, vacancy beyond the market of Qingping, place of peace, ordered vegetable lung, the island of Shamian in the south of this immense dusty building site which is from now on Canton is a delicious strip of land in retirement, on banks of the river of the pearls.
We find that it is a very oppressive city, not many intresting for that which does not have anything to buy. We advise to spend only 3 days there.
