Here one of the most extraordinary spectacles of nature. Imagine, in top, formidable peaks climbing with 5000m altitude, bellow Yangzhe, river mythical, which extends its color green of jade. Between the two, a apic. To the maximum of the throats, it made uneven there of 3900 meters between the tops and the river. One feels absolutely tiny in the middle of this imposing landscape. But best, it is that with semi-slope, there is formidable a trek.
Walk is easy. The beginning requires to climb well but then the way remains with constant height and it is not any more a question but of admiring the landscape. The trek normally lasts 2 days with 5 to 6 hours of walk but there are guesthouses regularly and you can take more time. The way can pass in the middle of rather stiff slopes, therefore made attention if you are very prone to the giddiness but not panic, nothing dangerous.
It is advised to leave the large luggage and to leave out of light bag for the trek. - To make the trek in entirety of Quiaotou with Daju: Quiaotou is with approximately 3h of road of Lijiang. You can stop in Halfway for one night. The last day, it will remain you to skirt the road then the way, then to cross Yangzhe Daju direction. To take a bus of return for Lijiang for 3 or 4h.
Be carreful, after the rains, the way is extrement muddy and thus very dangerous. We disadvise at everyone engaging with bad conditions (there already were deaths…).
