Dali

Dali is to 370 km of Kunming. Minibuses make the connection every hour (5 hours of way) from the large road stations of the city. The travel agencies of Kunming suggest turns 'two nights and a day with Dali'.

Chinese traditional city surrounded by ramparts. Practically no vehicle motorized inside the enclosure.

The street 'Yangren' (street from abroad) with the significant nickname, is located in the middle of the old city, and it is the appointment of the tourists. Are there tens of coffees, restaurants Western and shops of clothing, offering many services to the travellers.

With some km of the city (3 km) : rice plantations as far as the eye can see and a superb lake (Erhai Hu). If you have chance you will see proposing a walk in fishing vessel by a local fisherman (it is really better than a walk on a tourist boat!)
