CHINA - SANCHAHE NATURE RESERVE |

In the heart of Xishuangbanna (about 50 km from the main city Jinghong), the Sanchahe Nature Reserve stretches over 1.5 million hectares. Admission 50 yuan per person.
In this reserve, you may be lucky enough to see elephants in freedoms. At worst you will to see those tame you make a number circus.
The reserve consists of two parts connected by a long cable (35 minutes to 2 km) 40 yuan for one way or 80 yuan. In the first part, you will find several houses exposing birds, butterflies, reptiles, monkeys…
In the second part, you will find yourself in the middle of the forest. You can walk on a bridge climb above the ground about 1 to 2 km. This is the top that you can be a chance to see elephants in freedoms. Otherwise you can take different paths. But you push in the jungle better a guide. You can, if you want to rent a bungalow in the trees. But it is relatively expensive.
You can just take a one-way trip on the chairlift, as you enter from one side of the reserve and exit on the other side.
